We are a group of women who are single, whether separated, divorced, widowed, or never married. We generally meet on the weekends and offer opportunities to gather together and share a meal, attend a cultural event, participate in a recreational activity, or volunteer in the community. The purpose is to meet other women who share a similar bond and grow in our relationship with Christ. Also, we hold an annual "Living In The Light" single women's conference.
Mission: Women in all Seasons of Life
Leaders: Beth Senseney
We are a group of women of all ages supporting each other and anchoring our identity in Christ. We meet weekly over coffee to just talk and share what God is doing in our lives. We will also be adding a short discussion on the book Women in the Bible by Ann Spangler.
Mission: Cancer Support
Leaders: Scott & Kim Davenport / Rob & Kim Wiseman
Like so many today, our MC has been touched by cancer too many times. Not only is the cancer patient profoundly impacted by this disease, but their families are also affected. We are focused on being a sympathetic ear, sharing our experiences and our God. Our specific focus is on those who are terminally ill and their families. It is our desire to come alongside and love them with God’s love through this difficult journey. We also participate in numerous local events such as runs, fundraisers, and Relay for Life.
Leader: Adam and Kaitlin Neal
Now more than ever, we feel it is more difficult to live for Jesus as a student. Our missional community feels an urgency to help students find and follow Jesus. We believe that God can and will use students as disciples who make other disciples. Our goal is to meet students where they are and build lasting relationships based on trust, where Jesus will not only be modeled, but also shared. We plan to do this by having meals around the table together, being involved at local schools, looking into God's Word, and serving students in a variety of ways. If you are interested in sharing the light and joy that is found in Christ with students who are desperate for hope and a future, we invite you to come alongside of us!
